IN A NUTSHELL
Two remain unbeaten at the top of the NPL as O’Connor Knights won the derby bragging rights with a 3-1 win over Canberra Croatia at Deakin Stadium, whilst Gungahlin United went five from five with a four-goal win over Yoogali at Melrose Synthetic. Tuggeranong won a second game in succession, putting pressure on Canberra Olympic with a success at O’Connor, with Monaro Panthers winning the Battle of the Big Cats at the Riverside.
GOAL OF THE WEEK
A very good goal, from a team in very good form. Confidence flowing through the ranks of Gungahlin United culminated in this wonderful team goal, a succession of accurate passes ending with Lukman Ahmed-Shaibu netting his tenth NPL goal of the season. Incisive.
PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK
Bevan Foxall was the dominant force in midfield for Tuggeranong United, strolling around with composure and skill, winning tackles, intercepting passes, and breaking up Canberra Olympic attacks whilst prompting forward whenever possible. A consummate midfield display.
TEAM OF THE WEEK

Tuggeranong take their good form to the Riverside to play the Panthers and the Tigers head to Griffith to meet Yoogali SC.
