Canberra FC invites boys born in 2003 & 2004 to come & trial for the NPL Development team that will be playing in Division 1 U/16’s this season.
Players demonstrating appropriate behaviour and skill level may get game time with the NPL U16’s this season.
The aim is to develop players that could step up in to the NPL U16’s throughout this season and for those born in 2004 to developed for our NPL U16 squad for next season.
From our 2018 Development team, 6 players were selected in the 2019 NPL U/16’s team. The plan is to have a similar number of players from this years Development team in our 2020 NPL U/16 or U/18 squads.
We still have 3 positions to fill, 2 Defenders, a Midfielder and an attacking player.

Pre-season training and grading for Canberra Olympic FC Women’s First Grade, Reserve Grade and Under 17 teams will commence on Tuesday 22 January.

GUFC is the largest sporting association in the Gungahlin region and one of the largest community soccer clubs in the ACT and Australia. Each year we have around 1800 players across approximately 200 teams with those numbers set to increase in coming years as the Gungahlin population continues to grow.
Our vision is to create a progressive and professionally run Football Club to support the Gungahlin community. The Club includes our Community Juniors and Miniroos Leagues, Seniors League, Masters League, our Gunners First Grade team and we are also proud to field teams in all age groups of the National Premier League.

Monaro Panthers Football Club is building further depth in its coaching team and is seeking applications from suitably qualified coaches. Due to family circumstances, our NPL U13s Head Coach Dean is unable to continue his coaching role in 2019. This is now an opportunity for anyone who is keen to join our Premier League Coaching Team. Radford College is seeking coaches for their Junior League Football teams. Trainings are held after school with games played on Saturdays. Positions are paid. An Assistant Coach role is available to join the TUFC National Premier League Youth 13s team in season 2019.
The squad has 15 players and currently train x3 times/week at Kambah No3 Ovals alongside the TUFC NPLY14s, NPLY16s and NPLY18s. The Head Coach is Richard Arranz who is FFA C-Licence accredited and has coached for a good part of a decade with Junior U5 to U18 teams, as well as occupied senior Football Club positions.
You will work closely with Richard, and as needed seek guidance from TUFC Open Mens Team Coach Mitch Stevens. We will co-deliver an annual coaching plan that use’s FFA and other methodologies to develop the player skill and ball mastery, as well as team and positional play. A background in football is helpful and a basic ability to demonstrate exercises and confidently communicate to players is ideal.
They are a great group of boys who are genuinely excited by the season ahead – good to coach, behave well and always show up to training. The role has also been posted on the UC Careers Hub as an intern position for UC students.

UC Pumas Football Club are looking for a Goalkeeper for their Division 1 Women’s team and for their Men’s Masters team ahead of the 2019 season. Players do not need to be affiliated with the University of Canberra to join the club and interested players are invited to contact the club via email.
UC Pumas are also seeking a number of coaches for different teams in the 2019 season. Coaches are sought for a Division 5 Women’s team, and Division 8, 9 & 10 Men’s teams. If you are interested in coaching any of these teams, please get in touch with the club via email.

The McDonald's Kanga Cup

The McDonald’s Kanga Cup is the largest youth football tournament in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting approximately 370 teams from Australia and overseas. It is conducted in July over a week in Canberra. The McDonald’s Kanga Cup was also presented with the 2017 Minister for Sport and Recreation’s Award for Event Excellence.
These internships may be completed by a very motivated individual or a team of dedicated students and will run from April through to the end of the Tournament in July. See below for our available roles!

The Canberra United Head Coach (FWL) is a maximum term full time position to oversee the Canberra United team that competes in the Youth League, and the youth development programs that underpin it. This will include developing a playing philosophy, and bringing that philosophy to life across all age grades.
The Canberra United Head Coach FYL will provide leadership, coaching and management to the Canberra United Youth League team to ensure competitiveness and a continued presence in the league.
The Head Coach will develop and manage the senior supplementary training program that complements the NPL competition. The Head Coach will also manage and deliver the training and match environment for the Talent Support Program for youth boys.
