The Brindabella Blues Football Club NPL Youth program will commence training for season 2019 shortly and there are a number of pre-season friendlies coming up over the next few weekends.

U20 trials at Canberra’s most decorated club Canberra FC (23 league titles and 9 time treble winners) will commence on Monday 14th January at Yarralumla Ovals 7-8:30pm. Trials/training will then continue on the following dates:

All new and current players are welcome. The U20’s squad for 2019 will be coached by Michael Mensah and will work closely with NPL first grade coach Luka Ujdur. We look forward to seeing you there.
Canberra FC will be holding grading/trials for the 2019 season for the U/10 to U/12 age groups. This process will allow us to place players in the appropriate division. Players who want to be considered for Division 1 or 2 teams must attend grading.
Please check the details below for your age group and attend the relevant session. Players seeking to be graded into Division 1 and 2 teams should try to attend all grading sessions. The more sessions you attend the better the graders can judge the appropriate level for children, however the club does understand the other commitments of players.

GUFC is the largest sporting association in the Gungahlin region and one of the largest community soccer clubs in the ACT and Australia. Each year we have around 1800 players across approximately 200 teams with those numbers set to increase in coming years as the Gungahlin population continues to grow.

Monaro Panthers Football Club is building further depth in its coaching team and is seeking applications from suitably qualified coaches. Due to family circumstances, our NPL U13s Head Coach Dean is unable to continue his coaching role in 2019. This is now an opportunity for anyone who is keen to join our Premier League Coaching Team. Narrabundah Football Club is preparing for its inaugural NPL2 season in 2019 and pre-season will begin shortly in mid-January.
Pre-season for NPL2 and NPL20’s will begin on Tuesday, 15th January and will continue every Tuesday & Thursday onwards. Arrive 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start.
The inaugural NFC NPL20s team will be a great opportunity for players looking to make the step up to senior football and to have the chance to play in the new NPL2 competition.
NFC is also still taking expressions of interest for the role of NPL20s coach. This role will be supported by NFC NPL2 Coach Jonathan Zalunardo as well as the Club’s NPL Manager.

O’Connor Knights SC would like to announce the start of their pre-season training for NPL and NPL 20’s and for those interested in playing State Leagues. Final confirmation of State League teams being nominated is subject to numbers at training over the following two weeks; however, it is anticipated that there will be ample opportunity for all prospective players across the various playing levels.
O’Connor encourage any new players and in particular NPL 20’s players that would like to be involved in a community based club that has been one of the dominant Capital League teams in recent history and will be part of NPL2 in 2019 to attend the sessions.

Queanbeyan City Football Club are seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates for the position of NPL 2 under 20’s coach in 2019.
The successful candidate will work closely with the NPL 2 men’s coach and technical director to foster a culture of inclusion, respect and a winning mentality across the club. A key part of the job will be to develop and prepare players for the step up to first grade, with the target of promotion for both the men’s and under 20’s sides to the NPL within 2 years.
Relevant certifications and coaching licences are desirable but not a necessity. The successful candidate will be asked to demonstrate experience in similar environments and a track record of positive youth and senior coaching outcomes.
Remuneration is available to the right candidate dependent on suitability and qualifications for the role.

An Assistant Coach role is available to join the TUFC National Premier League Youth 13s team in season 2019.
The squad has 15 players and currently train x3 times/week at Kambah No3 Ovals alongside the TUFC NPLY14s, NPLY16s and NPLY18s. The Head Coach is Richard Arranz who is FFA C-Licence accredited and has coached for a good part of a decade with Junior U5 to U18 teams, as well as occupied senior Football Club positions.
You will work closely with Richard, and as needed seek guidance from TUFC Open Mens Team Coach Mitch Stevens. We will co-deliver an annual coaching plan that use’s FFA and other methodologies to develop the player skill and ball mastery, as well as team and positional play. A background in football is helpful and a basic ability to demonstrate exercises and confidently communicate to players is ideal.
They are a great group of boys who are genuinely excited by the season ahead – good to coach, behave well and always show up to training. The role has also been posted on the UC Careers Hub as an intern position for UC students.

UC Pumas Football Club are looking for a Goalkeeper for their Division 1 Women’s team and for their Men’s Masters team ahead of the 2019 season. Players do not need to be affiliated with the University of Canberra to join the club and interested players are invited to contact the club via email.

Reigning Capital Football club champions Weston Molonglo F.C. are inviting players to trial for their inaugural NPL2 First Grade & U/20’s squads for the 2019 season.
The club is particularly looking for players born 1st January 1999, or later to be eligible for U/20’s.
Sessions will be held at Waramanga Oval (lower fields): Accessible from the Arawang Primary School carpark on Nemarang Crescent or by parking in the main carpark off Badimara Street and walking to the fields behind the shipping containers.
Sessions will commence on Tuesday 22nd January, and will run on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm.

The Referee Development Manager (RDM) role is a full-time position providing technical leadership to the referee development programs delivered by Capital Football.
The RDM will establish a team of referee assessors and course instructors to deliver the schedule of assessments and courses within the referee development program.
The RDM will monitor all feedback relating to referee performance and establish referee panels from which referees will be appointed to Capital Football competitions (which will be communicated by the Referee Administration Manager).
The RDM will prepare all referee development plans and make recommendations to FFA relating to those referees nominated to officiate at National Youth Championships and be considered for the HAL and WWL elite panels.
The RDM will work collaboratively with the Referee Administration Manager to deliver professional and consistent support and services to the regions match officials.
