Working with the ACT Government, Capital Football helps clubs and individuals to access grants and funding programs to allow them to better facilitate and enjoy the sport of football. As grants and funding programs become available they will appear below on this page.
Applications are now open for the 2019/2020 ACT Government’s Indigenous Sports Grant Program.
The ISGP supports the Indigenous Advancement Strategy’s Safety and Wellbeing Programme by providing assistance to Indigenous Australians to enjoy similar levels of physical, emotional and social wellbeing enjoyed by other Australians by fostering the ability of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to engage in education, employment and other opportunities.
The funding provided through ISGP is limited and as such, all applications will need to adhere strictly to the compliance criteria. Funding will continue to be available until exhausted.
It is possible that not all requests for assistance will be approved, therefore funding should not be deemed automatic or anticipated.

Westfield Local Heroes is a new community recognition and grants program, connecting and enriching communities.
Individuals are nominated and voted for by their communities, with three finalists per Westfield Living centre each awarded a $10,000 grant to support their affiliated organisation’s work, programs or activities.
Each year the Office of Sport provides millions in government grants to nurture sporting talent, help build sports facilities and develop the industry as a whole.
