After two years of postponed tournaments due to COVID-19 Capital Football can today confirm the coaching staff that will look after the ACT teams for Girls National Youth Championships (NYC) in 2022 at Coffs Harbour.

For our NYC Girls squads, the U14s Head Coach will be Ahmed Ugool, assisted by David Ruberto and then taking the lead on the U16s will be Matthew Moore who will be assisted by Troy Boots.

Phil Booth congratulated all the coaches on their appointments but has stressed how important these competitions are for our young players.

“It’s great to have the tournament back and allow for us to send off our best ACT players to showcase their talent on a national stage”, he said.

“We have an exciting group of coaches to lead our teams into the National Youth Championship and look forward to seeing the talent they identify to take with them. These tournaments provide great opportunities for our players being able to not just play the best players in the country, but all showcase their talent in front of FA National team staff.”
