Canberra Foot and Ankle Clinic Walking Football is a social, small-sided version of football, suitable for all levels of ability and fitness!


What is CFAC Walking Football?

  • It is low-impact, team-based exercise, with a different set of rules, specifically all players must ‘always have one foot on the ground’.
  • Matches are played with modified formats (5v5/6v6) on smaller pitches with shortened game times
  • Canberra Foot and Ankle Clinic Walking Football aims to provide participants with mental health benefits, social connectedness and promotion of the benefits of ongoing physical activity.
  • One fee for two venues

North Side Competition

  • When: Wednesday 7 October 2020 – 3 March 2021 
  • Time: Games start from 6:30pm
  • Where: Hawker Football Centre
  • Who: Males and females over the age of 45.

South Side Competition 

  • When: Sunday 18 October 2020 – 21 December 2020
  • Time: 5pm – 7pm (subject to change)
  • Where: Mawson Playing Fields
  • Who: Males and females over the age of 45
