RELATIVE AGE EFFECT (RAE) EXEMPTION

RAE will apply to the following age grades for the 2022 NPL season:
• NPL Boys – U13, U14, U16;
• NPL Girls– U14, U15.

NPL EXEMPTIONS 

An NPL exemption request can only be submitted by a Club (via the Club’s Technical Director) and not an individual Player. The below exemptions will be available through this form:

Underage Players
This exemption is for a player under the age of 16 wishing to participate in NPL Boys Competitions or wishing to participate in the NPL Girls competitions.

Females Playing in the NPL Boys
This exemption is for female participants wanting to play in the NPL Boys competition only. Females playing in the NPL Boys will need to be age eligible to participate in these competitions.

Females Playing in the NPL Boys and NPL Women’s
This exemption is for female participants wishing to play in both the NPL Boys and NPL Women’s Competitions and are age eligible across both competitions.

Community Football

SENIOR LEAGUES AGE EXEMPTION FORM

This form is to be completed if the below is applicable to a participant who is:

  • Under the age of 16 as at 31 December 2022 (applicable to SLW, SLM & CLM competitions)
  • Under the age of 35 as at 31 December 2022 (applicable to MLW and MLM O35’s competitions)
  • Under the age of 45 as at 31 December 2022 (applicable to MLM O45’s competition)
  • Under the age of 55 as at 31 December 2022 (applicable to MLM 055’s competition)

 

ACTEWAGL JUNIOR LEAGUES AND MINIROOS AGE EXEMPTIONS

This form is to be completed if the below is applicable to a participant who is:

  • Playing one (1) year below their actual age group (please note: girls playing in open competitions do not need to submit this form)
  • Playing two (2) years above their actual age group
  • A 10 year old wishing to play up in the JL Competitions.
