Southwell Park in Lyneham was the scene as teams of college students battled it out for the inaugural Capital College Cup, on Wednesday April 10.
With games running all day, teams played out some high quality football in perfect footballing conditions in the three competitions being girls, opens and mixed social.
The primary goal of the tournament was to encourage teenagers to actively engage in football, promoting a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, and discipline. By fostering a sense of competition and the social elements of the sport, the aim is to create a footballing community that has room of the competitive and social players.
Congratulations to all teams for their incredible efforts on the day.
