Capital Football is thrilled to announce it has renewed its Football Goal Post Partnership with PILA!
As a leading Australian manufacturer of commercial sports field hardware and streetscape products, PILA has been building football goal posts in their Sydney and Melbourne factories for decades and as a trusted brand, their goal posts have been chosen by elite venues including The Home of the Matildas, Valentine Sports Park, GIO Stadium, Stadium Australia, The SCG, The MCG, Suncorp Stadium, and countless other stadiums, council, club and school sports fields nationally.
As a part of the partnership, PILA has introduced a Goal Post Subsidy Program to provide financial assistance towards the purchase of new, high-quality, compliant football goal posts for Capital Football affiliates, creating an affordable opportunity to upgrade to Australian Standard equipment. “This is a vital piece of equipment of course, and we are delighted that PILA are able to offer our teams this subsidy for new goalposts,” CEO of Capital Football, Ivan Slavich said.
Seeing the benefits that the Goal Post Subsidy Program is providing to grassroots football in other regions, PILA’s Managing Director, Reece Wooldridge, is confident that the program will bring the same advantages to the football community in the ACT.
“Our customers have goal posts that are still standing strong after 20 years! We offer a full range of spare parts so you can cost-effectively maintain and refurbish your PILA equipment long-term, giving you a huge return on investment.” Reece also advises that sports equipment needs to be well researched.
“Cheaply priced imported goal posts are generally built from inferior materials that do not withstand the Australian elements, so they deteriorate in a short amount of time with powdercoat peeling, bolts rusting and frames sagging.” He adds “these goal posts often don’t comply to our strict Australian Standards for safety and present considerable risk-exposure to venue owners and operators, making them a low-value purchasing decision.”
