Capital Football fell just short in four Grand Finals at the 2023 National Futsal Championship on a stunning last day of action in which the cream of the crop locked horns across all age grades for the chance to claim the much prized silverware.

Four Capital Football teams had made their way through a week of intense competition, raising the weary legs for one last blast at glory, unfortunately not finding the luck when it was required.

The U14 boys fell to a narrow 2-4 loss to Queensland whilst the U17 Girls were agonisingly pipped by NSW Thunder in one of the matches of the week, a seven-goal thriller that was settled by the odd goal.

Youth Men and Open Women were defeated by their NSW Metro and Thunder counterparts respectively, but the final results across the board only tell half the story of the effort put in by all our representative teams down in Victoria.
