Weston-Molonglo FC legend Bronwyn Huntley has been announced as the August winner of the Capital Chemist Volunteer of the Month!
“Bron is a tireless volunteer with Weston-Molonglo FC,” Peta Sheppard who nominated Bronwyn for the award commented.
“If there is something that needs doing, she puts her hand up, ground set up, canteen, ferrying players around, managing teams, not just her own, stepping up and helping others when needed.
“She is Club Secretary, Capital Premier League Boys Manager and Mum. She does all these with joy and enthusiasm and the club is a better club for her.”
Sounds like Bronwyn is just the kind of person who could be our Volunteer of the Year. If you know someone who might qualify, please nominate them for the Volunteer of the Year award!
The monthly winner of the Capital Chemist Volunteer of the Month award is presented with a certificate, along with the opportunity to join the Capital Chemist loyalty program.
Capital Chemist has joined forces with Capital Football to recognise club volunteers for their contribution to football in the ACT and surrounding region. Each month, members of the football community can nominate a volunteer who they believe makes an invaluable contribution to football.
