Nominations for the 2018 Capital Football FFA Cup are now open.
Heading into its fifth instalment, the FFA Cup saw over 700 clubs participate in the 2017 FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds.
The FFA Cup has replaced the Capital Football Federation Cup, however the winner of the FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds will not only receive the ACT’s allocated single slot into the FFA Cup Final Rounds, but will also be crowned the Federation Cup Champions.
With a spread of clubs representing Capital Football in the FFA Cup Final Rounds in seasons past, it is time to determine 2018’s Federation Cup Champion and National stage representative.
The FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds will commence at Round 3, unless Team Nominations dictate otherwise.
In the event Round 2 matches are required to be played, clubs will be notified where they will be involved and available dates communicated.
National Premier League (NPL) clubs will enter the competition in Round 3 or 4, dependent on the number of nominations.
Winners from Round 4 will progress to the Quarter Finals (Round 5) with the subsequent winners progressing to the Semi Finals (Round 6) and the FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds Final (Round 7).
The FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds Final will be played on the weekend of Saturday, 16 June 2018.
