IN A NUTSHELL
Croatia needed three to get past Tigers at the AIS, two coming from similar set-pieces, Gungahlin were narrow winners over Olympic with Seb Usai in stunning form in between the posts for the visitors, Panthers swept past Yoogali off the back of a Roko Strika brace and, a week after throwing away a two-goal lead against Tigers, Tuggeranong came back from two-down to draw with the Knights.
GOAL OF THE WEEK
A thumping hit from O’Connor Knights central defender Kristian Tokic, who left fly from distance and buried a cracker for the home side to put them 2-0 ahead at O’Connor Enclosed against Tuggeranong. The match ended 2-2.
PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK
Seb Usai. The Olympic goalkeeper was simply brilliant for his team, despite losing 0-1 against Gungahlin United at the AIS. Usai made a series of unbelievable saves, including a pearler to deny Riley Brown, and a two acrobatic reflex stops to keep out Romeo. The custodian deserved more than to lose the fixture.
