The Powerchair Football Development Weekend is being held over the 11th and 12th of November at the AIS Multihall courts. It will run from 1pm to 6pm on the Saturday and 10am to 3pm on the Sunday.
Powerchair football is a modified version of soccer for the users of electric wheelchairs.
Athletes pass, dribble and spin-kick an oversized soccer ball around a basketball court as they try to score the winning goal.
It’s a tactical game that involves skill, team work and communication and is played on the world stage.
There will be demonstration matches on the day and a chance to try it yourself!
