Calwell was the late substitute venue for the Junior League Grand Finals the weekend, playing host to eight Finals with silverware handed out across the Boys and Girls U16 and U18 divisions.
Marist Canberra were in high spirits having claimed the main prize in both the U16 Division 1 Grand Final and the U18 equivalent, proving too strong for the gallant efforts of Gungahlin United and Canberra Grammar School respectively.
St. Edmunds College won the U18 Division 2 title with Gungahlin United surprising the League Champions, Cooma FC in U16 Division 2. Queanbeyan City won the U18 Division 3 Grand Final with an entertaining 4-2 win over Marist.
Radford College stormed to a three-goal win over Weston-Molonglo FC in the Girls U18 Division 1 championship match, with Weston-Molonglo FC edging a five-goal thriller against BellaMonaro in Girls U16 Division 2.
There was better news for BellaMonaro in Girls U16 Division 1 however, they defeated Woden Valley 3-1 to win the trophy.
