At the recent Capital Football (CF) Board meeting held on Thursday 9 March, it was decided that the Capital Premier League Boys competition would remain a seven (7) team competition after the promotion of Woden Valley SC into the CF National Premier League Boys (NPLB).
Multiple factors were taken into consideration including time, compliance, licensing framework, regulations, and venues.
Management is aware of the number of byes this decision creates in the CPLB competition. A model addressing the number of byes and lack of match minutes will be tabled to all CPLB clubs in the coming days.
