Capital Football wishes to extend its congratulations and best wishes to the incoming members of the FFA board following Monday’s Annual General Meeting.
The members of Football Federation Australia on Monday elected four new members onto the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting in Sydney.
The newly elected members are Heather Reid, Joseph Carrozzi, Chris Nikou and Remo Nogarotto. They join Kelly Bayer Rosmarin and Crispin Murray on the Board.
Following the AGM, the directors met and elected Chris Nikou as the new Chairman of the Board and Heather Reid as Deputy Chair.
In particular, Capital Football congratulates the new Chair Chris Nikou, and former Capital Football CEO Heather Reid, Deputy Chair of the new board.
Capital Football Director Fran Sankey was also appointed to the Women’s Council.
Capital Football Chairman Mark O’Neill congratulated the board and expressed excitement for the future of Football in Australia.
“We are headed into a new era of Football in Australia, and building on the work that has already been done here,” he said.
“I would like to extend my congratulations to Heather on her appointment.
“Having worked with her for a number of years I know that she has the best interests of Football at heart and brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role.
“I would also like to congratulate Danny Moulis on his candidacy and for his extensive contribution to Football as a member of the FFA board for the previous three years.”
