After an assessment and careful consideration ACT Sport and Recreation has made the determination to close all turf sportsgrounds for the weekend to all activities.

ACT Sport and Recreation absolutely appreciate that the timing couldn’t be worse for those codes that only have a few rounds left of the regular season and apologise for the inconvenience.

The reality is that after receiving one month’s worth of rain in one day, the current state of most of our grounds renders them as not fit for purpose.
