Capital Football’s Chief Executive Officer Phil Brown has announced that the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in respect of the 2019 financial year will be held on Monday, 6 April 2020.

At the meeting, Members of Capital Football will be presented with the company’s audited financial reports, will elect directors and appoint auditors for the next financial year.

CEO Phil Brown will also present a review of Capital Football’s operations and the outlook for 2020 and beyond.

Pursuant to the Constitution of Capital Football, the terms of two Elected Directors will expire at the AGM and the Members will be asked to vote on candidates to fill those positions.

A Notice of Meeting, which will include the agenda, audited financial reports, motions for decision (where applicable) and a list of nominated candidates for election as Directors, will be sent to Members of Capital Football on Monday, 16 March 2020.

The Board of Directors and voting Members of Capital Football will be formally invited to participate in the AGM, while Club Presidents will be invited to observe the AGM and participate in an informal meeting conducted following the conclusion of the AGM.

Capital Football asks that submissions be delivered to Capital Football Offices by close of business Friday 13 March 2020 in order that the list of candidates can be communicated to the Membership with the agenda and related papers on Monday 16 March 2020.
