Referee Assessor Level 3

The Football Australia Referee Assessor Level 3 course is the entry-level course to becoming a referee coach.

Level 3 Referees aged 18 who have at least 2 years refereeing experience are eligible to undertake the Referee Assessor Level 3 course.

This course provides an introduction to the coaching / mentoring process and participants are qualified to assess / coach referees at local/grassroots level. The course is a prerequisite for the Referee Level 1 (Theory) course.

Course Fee

The Referee Assessor Level 3 course fee is $50.00.

Prerequisites

Potential candidates who wish to complete the course must meet the following pre-requisites before enrolling in the course.

Participants must:

• be at least 18 years old at the commencement of the training program;
• be currently registered as a match official; and
• hold a current Referee Level 3 qualification or higher.

ASSESSMENTS

To be certified with a Referee Assessor Level 3 qualification, you must:

• attend all sessions and complete Units 1-9 to the satisfaction of your Instructor;
• pass the multiple choice Laws of the Game exam;
• be deemed competent in your submission of 1x running sheet and 1x feedback form

If you fail the Laws of the Game exam you will be contacted to determine a date for another attempt.
