NPL14
League champions Canberra Croatia continued their impressive form as they prepare for finals with a pair of wins over the past week in the NPL14 competition. On Tuesday, Imogen Robertson, Aisha El Ayadi and Emily McCann netted in a 3-2 win over Gungahlin United, whilst they ended the regular season with a 2-1 win over Canberra Olympic, McCann and Stella Flinn scoring. Belconnen United suffered a surprise 2-1 home loss to West Canberra Wanderers, for whom Nieve Regent and Leila Evans scored, whilst Majura FC swept past Tuggeranong United, winning 5-1 at Kambah. Elsewhere, Gungahlin United were 4-0 winners over BellaMonaro FC at Nicholls Synthetic.

In the NPL15 competition BellaMonaro FC earned a highly creditable 1-1 draw with Gungahlin United, Jasmine Hamilton equalising for the visitors at Nicholls Synthetic after Madison Oei has opened the scoring for the home team. Over at McKellar Park, a single goal scored by Evie Youden in the 65th minute was enough to separate Belconnen United and West Canberra Wanderers. A hat-trick from Gemma Jones helped Canberra Croatia to a 3-2 away win over Canberra Olympic for whom Annabelle Cawte and Faria Pasha struck, while goals from Grace Fenson, Sasha Cartwright, and a Misha Stephen own goal saw Majura FC beat Tuggeranong United 3-1.

In the NPL17 league, Grace Fenson and Olivia Martiniello both scored twice as Majura FC racked up seven without reply against Tuggeranong United, Harper Hudson, Isabella Pole, and Elianne Lum rounding out the scorers. Siena D’Ambrosio netted two goals for Belconnen United in the second-half of their 4-1 win over West Canberra Wanderers, Olive Flanagan and Samantha Shea having opened a two-goal lead in the first-half. Isla Huddy scored for Wanderers. Darcy Williams, Charlotte Farrell and Faroa Pasha scored for Canberra Olympic as they defeated Canberra Croatia 3-2 at O’Connor Enclosed., and Gungahlin United ended the season with a 6-0 win over BellaMonaro FC, with six different players finding the back of the net.
