Nominations have been opened for the prestigious Capital Football Life Membership, an award that recognises an individual’s contribution to Capital Football in the ACT and the surrounding region.

Life Membership is the highest recognition bestowed by Capital Football on individuals who have made an outstanding and extended contribution to the sport over at least seven years.

Nominations may be received for players, coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers who have made a considerable contribution not just to one club, but to Capital Football and the entire football community.

Nominations can only be made by members of Capital Football (i.e. those individuals eligible to vote at a Capital Football AGM), so please contact a Capital Football member if you believe someone is worthy of nomination.

Nominations should also include a list of achievements and supporting statements by representatives of the football community and others who can attest to the nominee’s achievements.

The nomination period opens on 15 January 2020 and closes 14 February 2020.
