Capital Football hosts our Junior Futsal League (JFL) competitions during the summer season, offering multiple divisions (pending nomination numbers) for Open and Girls players from U10-U18 age groups, similar to our Junior Leagues in winter outdoor football. The JFL competition will consist of 14 rounds excluding finals.
The JFL competition will consist of 14 rounds excluding finals. The JFL hosts Division 1-3 (pending team entries) for players aged U10-U18. Similar to the Junior Leagues competitions in our winter outdoor football season. Minis is a social futsal competition for U6-U9 players. This competition will consist of 16 rounds with no finals games.
All competitions will start on Sunday 19 October 2025 and finish on Sunday 29 March 2026 (including the Finals Series). There will be a break over Christmas, January and Canberra Day Long Weekend.
Cost
- U6 – U9: $200 per player
- U10-U13: $210 per player
- U14-U18: $225 per player
The JFL will be played out of the following venues depending on age groups:
- Gold Creek (U6 – U9 – Northside Minis)
- Melrose High School (U9 – Southside Minis)
- Lyneham Netball Centre
- Radford College
- Throsby School
Timings for each age group are approximate and will remain within the same timeframe where possible for the whole competition.
- U6 – U8 Morning to midday
- U9 Morning to early afternoon
- U10 – U11 Morning to early afternoon
- U12 – U14 Midday to afternoon
- U15 – U18 Afternoon to early evening
Competition Regulations
- A Player is not allowed to participate in two (2) different Teams within the same division.
- A player that has played in the NPLB or NPLG in 2025 is not permitted to participate in Division 2 competitions.
- Players who are registered in Junior Capital Futsal League (JCFL) for the 2025 season can only participate in JFL Division 1.
- Teams in JFL Division 1 can only have a maximum of three (3) players who are also registered in the Junior Capital Futsal League (JCFL).
JFL Open and Girls will host the following age groups: U10, U12, U14, U16, U18
Minis (Open) will host the following age groups: U6, U8, U9
