COMPETITION COORDINATOR (SENIOR LEAGUES)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Competition Coordinator (Senior Leagues) role is responsible for the delivery and growth of senior league competitions in the ACT and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will lead all senior leagues related activities and be the key point of contact for enquiries about these competitions.

In this role you will:

  • Lead all Capital Football governed Senior League competitions, including:
    • Capital League Opens & Womens
    • Master’s League Men’s & Women’s
  • Develop and review competition regulations.
  • Manage fixtures, match-day results, and annual competition awards.
  • Oversee the delivery of the Senior Leagues final series.
  • Retain current participants through creating positive experiences.
  • Promote, advocate for, and support the Football community and engage in consultation processes with key stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will hold, or be able to gain, an ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.
  • You will be a proven leader with experience coordinating and managing sports competitions.
  • You will challenge our expectations and bring new and exciting ideas to create awesome member experiences.
  • You will have the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • You are able to work creatively, under pressure and to strict timelines.
  • Tertiary qualifications in sport management, event management or similar are desirable.
