Capital Football Technical Director Scott O’Donell has announced he will be stepping down from the role, effective from December 3, 2021.
Scott O’Donell joined Capital Football in 2017 and in that time has greatly contributed to the development of football in the ACT and surrounding regions, through Advanced Coach Education and the delivery of football programs for young and aspiring players.
Scott said he’s enjoyed his time at Capital Football but it’s time to take a break.
“I will continue my work with FIFA as well as assisting Football Australia with Coach Education resources and courses,” Scott said.
“I would like to thank Phil Brown and the staff at Capital Football for their support during my tenure here.”
Capital Football CEO Phil Brown expressed his gratitude to Scott for his work over the past four and a half years.
“Scott has been an invaluable member of the team and his expertise will be greatly missed,” Phil said.
“On behalf of Capital Football, I would like to thank Scott for his contribution to football and wish him all the best with his future.”
Coach Development Manager Phil Booth will fill in as Acting Technical Director, during the recruitment process.
