A 58th minute goal from Sophia Boutzios gave Majura FC a narrow 1-0 win over Gungahlin United at Harrison Playing Fields as the away side gave their finals hopes a boost with three valuable points. A day earlier, West Canberra Wanderers had done their part as they travelled to South Jerrabomberra Regional Sports Complex and came away with the win as they defeated BellaMonaro FC 5-0. Goals from Aisha El Ayadi, Emilie McLaughlin, Isabella Clark, and Aislinn O’Dwyer helped Canberra Croatia to a 4-1 win over Belconnen United, for whom Aggie Shaw struck. Meanwhile, Alessia Calabro and Madeline Field struck for Canberra Olympic as they won 2-0 away to Tuggeranong United at Kambah 2.

Amelie Griffiths led the charge for West Canberra Wanderers in the NPL15 competition on Saturday by netting twice in the Wanderers 4-0 away win over BellaMonaro at South Jerrabomberra. Zoe Van Oosten and Milicia Andrew-Gavazov bagged the others. On Sunday, a single goal from Sybilla Larkin on the quarter-hour was enough for Belconnen United to beat Canberra Croatia 1-0. Gungahlin United were made to work hard for their points as a brace of goals from Aimee Floro proved enough to defeat Majura FC 2-1 at Harrison, Ruby Selkirk netting for the vanquished. Elsewhere, the honours were even at Kambah 2 as Tuggeranong United and Canberra Olympic played out a 1-1 draw. Savannah Russell scored first for Tuggeranong with Faria Pasha levelling matters in the eightieth minute of the contest.

Belconnen United continued their excellent run in the NPL17 competition in midweek with a comprehensive 4-0 away win over West Canberra Wanderers at Melrose Synthetic. Samantha Shea, Marley Cannell, Amy Sephora, and Holly Conlon scored the Blue Devils goals. Canberra Olympic meanwhile hit ten without reply against BellaMonaro on the same evening, Sofia Pirotta claiming five and Darcy Williams three. On Saturday, Georgia Reilly netted seven, Anne Hassall four, and Laura Tarrant three as West Canberra Wanderers were too good for BellaMonaro FC in South Jerrabomberra racking up a large victory. There was a second 4-0 cruise for Belconnen United on Sunday, Canberra Croatia put to the sword at McKellar Park after goals from Siena D’Ambrosio (2), Danijela Eskinja, and Amy Sephora, while Charlotte Rose-Karl and Ruby Selkirk scored for Majura FC in their 2-1 win over Gungahlin United. And at Kambah, Sofia Pirotta and Anuka Fisher scored two each in Canberra Olympic’s 8-0 win over Tuggeranong United.
