Capital Football would like to extend it’s condolences to Peter and Carol Thompson following the passing of their 30-year old daughter, Sharon.
The Thompson’s are one of the ACT’s leading football families, and the passing of Sharon is a great loss to the Football Family.
Peter was a top level player for many many years and his wife Carol (nee Stirton) was one of the first ACT representative players. Their daughter Sharon was the first daughter of former ACT players to represent the ACT in national championships.
Sharon died unexpectedly on 24 November and is survived by her young son, Cohen.
The funeral for Sharon will be held at Norwood Crematorium on Monday (12 Dec) commencing at 1030.
