NPL14
A hat-trick from Liam Charlton helped Canberra Croatia to an 8-2 win over Canberra Olympic in the ‘ Mini Classico’ in NPL14 Boys. Albert Mackintosh bagged two for the visitors while Stefano Bonavita did the same for the beaten hosts. Wagga City Wanderers hit seven as they enjoyed a big home win over Tuggeranong United, Isaac Carroll helping himself to a first-half hat-trick as the Wanderers hit six I the opening half-an-hour, Belconnen United also getting seven, in their case in a massive away win over Woden Valley. In a round in which a load of goals were netted, the O’Connor Knights got nine, Tom Radic, Ater Nerchilay and Marko Radic scoring two apiece, for the home side who kept a clean sheet against Radford College, and there were six goals each for Tigers FC, Anton Fadar and William Morey with a brace each, and Gungahlin United, Alec Latta with a treble, as they both won 6-1 against Wet Canberra Wanderers and Monaro Panthers respectively. Meanwhile, Majura FC and Brindabella Blues drew 1-1.

Four first-half goals, including two for Zedric Velasquez, saw Canberra Croatia to a 6-0 away win over Canberra Olympic at O’Connor Enclosed in the Boys NPL15 Round 8 clash. There were identical 3-1 away wins for Tigers FC, over West Canberra Wanderers and Belconnen United, over Woden Valley, Tigers prevailing with ten men and coming from a goal down to secure the victory. Tuggeranong United scored twice in the first-half through Zac Marris and survived a second-half sendoff to emerge with a 2-1 win over Wagga City Wanderers in the Riverina, Jacob Comtesse on target for Wagga, while goals from Charlie Dunn and a double from Kritaarth Nagpal saw Radford College win 3-0 away to O’Connor Knights. On a day for away wins, Brindabella Blues added their name to the list with a 5-2 success at Majura FC, Ciaran Lau on target twice, but Gungahlin United bucked the trend, Jacob Bott scoring both as they won 2-0 at home to Monaro Panthers.

Canberra Olympic restored club pride in the NPL16 as they defeated Canberra Croatia 3-0 thanks to goals from Benjamin Booth, Andrej Vasilic and Sebastian Anderson, in a convincing win at O’Connor. Gungahlin United, off the back of five goals from Omar Hamid and two from Maxwell Agbonzikilo, thrashed Monaro Panthers, Majura FC and Brindabella Blues drew 2-2, and Wagga City Wanderers prevailed 6-3 in an exciting clash with Tuggeranong United, William Johns claiming a hat-trick for Wagga, United scoring two penalties in their tally. Gaols from Max Naunton, Finn Dykes and Rafael Rodrigues helped O’Connor Knights to a 3-1 win over Radford College for whom William Saunders responded, and Belconnen United saw Sam York score twice, along with strikes from Lima Kneeshaw from the penalty spot, Rhys Hewitt ad Ishan Shelar in their 5-1 away win over Woden Valley.

Gungahlin United were the victors in a five-goal thriller with Monaro Panthers in NPL18 as Sebastian Paragalli, Sebastain Czoban and Kwol Kwol netted in the second-half of their 3-2 win, Dane Hatton and a penalty from Flynn Duncan having twice given Monaro the lead. Canberra Olympic came from a 0-1 deficit to defeat Canberra Croatia 2-1 at O’Connor Enclosed as Riley Carter and Oscar Papacharalambous scored in the final six minutes to overturn a goal from Oliver Hawkins. Dawit Jember netted two for Belconnen United in their 3-1 away win over Woden Valley, Samson Scarano did the same as Tigers FC won 2-1 away at West Canberra Wanderers, and Denis Zimba went one better with all three, including two penalties, as Brindabella Blues beat Majura FC 3-2. O’Connor Knights were rampant in their 9-2 win Radford College, Zain Durrani scoring three, while Tuggeranong United claimed an impressive 3-2 win over Wagga City Wanderers at Gissing Oval.
