Following the Canberra Croatia versus Gungahlin United National Premier League First Grade match at Deakin Stadium on Saturday 20 August 2022, the independent Capital Football Tribunal has determined that Canberra Croatia Football Club have been found guilty of the following breaches of Capital Football Regulations.
- Supporter and Spectator Misconduct
- Not operating a safe environment
- Bringing the game into disrepute
The independent Capital Football Tribunal has subsequently decided that Canberra Croatia Football Club should be deducted three (3) competition points and subject to a club fine.
With the deduction of the three (3) competition points from the NPL First Grade standings, the awarding of the NPL Premiers Trophy (the League Championship) has been rescinded until results decide the League Premiership.
