Capital Football is pleased to announce a revamped awards night to close out the 2024 season, aiming to reward and recognise the best of our game at both the premier and community level.

A pair of new awards have been introduced for 2024, these being the ‘Innovative Program of the Year’ and ‘Club of the Year’, while other awards have been updated.

The ‘Innovative Program of the Year’ will be awarded to the Club that has developed the most unique and forward-looking football-related initiative, program or event across the season that has been implemented to improve any facet of the operations of a Club and/or community.

The ‘Club of the Year’ will recognise the Club that is committed to improving the experience of its members and can demonstrate exemplary contributions to the wider footballing community by epitomising the spirit and values of the game both on and off the pitch.

Nominations should be focused on the period from 1 January 2024 to 30 September 2024, with the period for nomination for next year set to be extended from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, in order to ensure the futsal community is recognised.

Where nominations are submitted by clubs, Capital Football will accept one nomination from each club per category to ensure that the process is streamlined and transparent.
