Capital Football are proud to introduce their new ‘We Play as One’ campaign.
The ‘We Play As One’ campaign will replace the current ‘Reduce Abuse’ campaign to present a more harmonious message to our football community. A message that encompasses all and gives all ownership of the importance of Respect.
Based around the ethos that respect is for all, and that only with the input of all can that respect be earned, the campaign features a video containing members of the football community, many of whose faces you may well recognise.
“Football prides itself on being a game for all, but each year many participants, be it players, match officials, or coaching staff, leave the sport for a variety of reasons of which one of the most common causes is abuse,” Capital Football CEO, Samantha Farrow, said.
“This isn’t good enough. Our sport should be a safe space for us all, and that is why we are launching the new ‘We Play As One’ campaign. We believe that together we can improve the treatment of those participating in our game.
“We need the support of everyone involved, including parents and spectators, to totally eradicate abuse and anti-social behaviour from the game. We encourage all participants, and spectators, to read Our Message and watch the video and, as we say, learn to respect and live our values.”
You will also see signs at your local National Premier League and Capital Premier League clubs with a QR code to take you to the dedicated ‘We Play as One’ campaign section of our website, where you can read Our Message, repeated below, and watch the video on our social media channels.
