The Capital Football Quarter-Finals of the 2018 FFA Cup have been finalised, with four massive fixtures now set in stone following the draw at Deakin Stadium.
The eight teams in the round all progressed from exciting matches, and more of the same is on the cards now.
Belconnen United will take on the only remaining Capital League side O’Connor Knights in what is set to be a good contest, with both sides recording big wins in their fourth round fixtures against UC Pumas and Woden Valley respectively.
The next home side drawn out was NPL side Gungahlin United, and in a surprising twist they will play host to Gungahlin Juventus in a quarter-final Gungahlin derby.
Monaro Panthers were next up for hosting rights, and they will soon learn their opponent with the outcome of Woden-Weston and Tuggeranong United’s fourth round clash subject to an appeal.
That meant there was only one outcome left, and in a repeat of a cracking 2017 semi-final, traditional foes Canberra FC and Canberra Olympic will face off in an absolute blockbuster.
Matches will be played between now and the end of May and you can check back here for the details of all fixtures as they are organised.
