The 2018 Girls NTC Challenge will kick-off next week in Canberra, pitting some of the ACT’s best young female footballers against their interstate counterparts.
The ACT will begin their campaign at 9am on Monday on Field 2 at the AIS, taking on the Emerging Jets in a testing fixture, before facing Victoria in their second outing at 3:50pm.
Capital Football Technical Director Scott O’Donell said it would be great to see the best talent in the ACT match it with their opponents.
“I am looking forward to seeing our girls play against some of the best young players in Australia,” O’Donell said.
It will be a good test for them. Ryan [Grogan] and Antoni [Jagarinec] have worked hard in preparing the girls for the NTC Challenge.”
“The NTC is a great opportunity for our girls to show the respective national team coaches of their capabilities and I am hoping that we get some girls identified and selected for the upcoming national training camps.”
