The 2018 Capital Football Charity Shield between Canberra Olympic and Tuggeranong United will take place at Melrose Synthetic on Friday 16th March, kicking off at 6:30pm. and streamed LIVE thanks to BarTV Sports.

Entry to the ground will be by Gold Coin, and all proceeds from the match will go to Ronald McDonald House Canberra and benefit the local community.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is an independent charity that helps families of seriously ill children.

The cornerstone program of RMHC, the Ronald McDonald House, provides a ‘home away from home’ for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals.

Ronald McDonald House Canberra Executive Officer Michelle McCormack said “Ronald McDonald House Canberra greatly appreciates the support of community events.

“The proceeds from this charity match will support families utilizing the programs run here in Canberra supporting families of seriously ill children. As little as $20 can make a difference to a family’s stay with us, providing breakfast cereal for that family for a week.”
