Women’s Futsal Premier League
Round 4
With champions and current league leaders Gungahlin United inactive it was a chance for the rest of the league to close the gap at the top and Boomerangs FS did just that as they crushed NC Untouchables Red 6-2. The experienced Boomerangs outfit proved too strong for their opponents in what was an exciting match.
A hat-trick from Nicole Jalocha did the most damage for the Boomerangs with a double from Amelia Turner and a goal from Sabrina Spinapolice helping the club to victory. Sheridan McElligott and Katherine Thurber replied for the vanquished NC Untouchables Red.
In the only other match of Round 4 a single goal from Alex Martens gave NC Untouchables Navy a 1-0 win over Boomerangs FS Youth to move Untouchables Navy up into third place on the ladder.
