A goal of monumental importance and a fine one at that. Darren Bailey won a header in midfield and Josh De Rossi took it in stride before smashing a drive from close to thirty metres that clattered in off the post. It helped Yoogali to a 2-1 win and might just be a goal that lives on in club history.

PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK

A treble from a teenager. It’s words that we have written about Atiya Waraga, but this week it was Steve Nealon who took the plaudits with his first ever senior hat-trick. A poacher’ s header, a superb solo goal with a classical finish, and an ice-cool penalty helped Nealon to three and Tuggeranong to a 4-1 win over Canberra Olympic.
