Clear blue skies and sunshine were the order of the day across the Boy’s National Premier League Round 14 and as usual, there were the twists and turns we have come to expect during the 2025 season. Here’s what happened over the last Round of action.

Ryan Arrouk scored a double for Canberra Croatia as they close the gap on Belconnen United in third place in the National Premier League U!4 competition with a 3-1 victory at Yarralumla on a sunny Saturday morning. Gungahlin United roared to an 9-1 away win over Woden Valley, goals from Xavi Ong and a Jake Konjevic own goal allowed Canberra Olympic to claim the points with a 2-0 win over West Canberra Wanderers, and Isaac Carroll helped himself to a brace in Wagga City Wanderers’ 2-0 win over Brindabella Blues at Kessler Park in Tolland. On Sunday, goals from Joseph Jovensio, Marko Radic, and Nick Spasenoski, helped O’Connor Knights to a 3-1 win over Tigers FC at Boomanulla Oval, Radford College and Majura FC shared four goals at Radford College in a 2-2 stalemate, and a Tom Selles goal was enough for Monaro Panthers to beat Tuggeranong United 1-0.

Canberra Olympic secured a rare victory in the National Premier League U16 competition as they proved too strong for the higher-ranked West Canberra Wanderers, showing their class with a comprehensive 4-0 success at O’Connor Enclosed. Elsewhere, Wagga City Wanderers were narrow winners over Brindabella Blues and five different players scored for Belconnen United as the Blue Devils defeated Canberra Croatia 5-2. Ryan Sluce, James Sutcliffe, Anthony Sajler, Lucas Carbonell, and Chimdiebube Ogbonnaya netting. It was all about the number three at Mawson as Woden Valley and Gungahlin United scored three goals each with the match featuring three red cards. Luca Storgato (2) and Jeremy Specker scored for Woden, Adam Ivankovic, Emily Fogg, and Jacob Bott replying for Gunners. On Sunday, Radford College and Majura FC couldn’t be separated, their match ending 1-1, William Gostelow and Fabricio Ballon were on target for O’Connor Knights as they defeated Tigers FC 2-0, and the points were shared at Kambah 2 as Gurjas Kang netted for Tuggeranong United and Lincoln Guseli replied for Monaro Panthers in a 1-1 draw.

A double from Fermin Silberkasten, one from the penalty spot, proved insufficient for Woden Valley as Jacob Hately bagged the decisive goal in a 3-2 success for the visiting Gungahlin United in the NPL16 competition. Earlier, Omar Hamid and a penalty from Andreas Kaskoutas had given Gunners a 2-0 lead. Jackson Myers scored two for Wagga City Wanderers in their 5-2 win over Brindabella Blues, while Benjamin Stelzer and Alisa Lwaboshi enjoyed their day with a hat-trick each in a huge 17-0 win for Canberra Olympic over West Canberra Wanderers at O’Connor Enclosed. Canberra Croatia led twice against Belconnen United at Yarralumla, Will Simpson and Lemar Katawazai scoring for the home team, but had to settle for a 2-2 draw as the visiting Blue Devils equalised through Sam York in the first instance, followed by a Liam Kneeshaw penalty. Henry Dolphin and Callum Sinclair scored the goals that gave Tigers FC a 2-1 win over O’Connor Knights, Tahpelo Vanika, Oliver Rampton, Toby Grant, and Lenny Thomson-Senanayake all scored for Majura FC in their 4-2 away win at Radford College, whilst Matthew Sheriff nabbed a brace for Tuggeranong United as they saw off Monro Panthers by the same score at Kambah 2.

League leaders Tigers FC continued their great form in the National Premier League U18 competition with a 5-3 win over O’Connor Knights at the Australian Institute of Sport on Saturday morning. For the third week in succession a Tigers player netted a treble, this time Jordan Forkna. O’Connor Knights were in ruthless mood in midweek as they saw off the challenge of Majura FC with a 9-1 success at Nicholls Synthetic. Striker Zain Durrani had an evening to remember as he bagged half-a-dozen of the nine goals accumulated, Precious Obilo, Josip Jukic, and Cos Arena with the others. There was a big win for Canberra Olympic as they bagged eleven without response against West Canberra Wanderers at O’Connor Enclosed, whilst a Keith Jose hat-trick wasn’t enough for Wagga City Wanderers who were beaten 3-4 at home by Brindabella Blues, Denis Zimba with the winning goal. Zac Harri scored three of Gungahlin United’s four in their away win over Woden Valley, and Belconnen United claimed a 3-1 away win over Canberra Croatia, Eli Georgiou, Teale Robinson, and Rhys Priestly scoring. Jamal Abdel-Nasser and Henry Winslade were the matchwinners for Tuggeranong United in their 2-1 win over Monaro Panthers at a damp Kambah 2, and Wiliam McCracken was on target twice after Lachlan Midgelow had opened the scoring for Radford College as the hosts defeated visiting Majura FC 5-1.
