Nominations are now open for the Capital Football Life Membership, an award that recognises an individual’s contribution to Capital Football in the ACT and the surrounding region.

Life Membership is the highest recognition bestowed by Capital Football, on individuals who have made an outstanding contribution, not just to one club but to Capital Football and the entire football community.

Players, coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers who have made a considerable contribution over at least seven years are eligible.

Nominations can only be made by members of Capital Football (i.e. those individuals eligible to vote at a Capital Football AGM), so please contact a Capital Football member if you believe someone is worthy of nomination.

Nominations should also include a list of achievements and supporting statements by representatives of the football community and others who can attest to the nominee’s achievements.

The nomination period opens on Monday 18 January 2021 and closes on Friday 12 February, 2021.
