An early strike from Arnold Choi proved to be the only goal in what proved to be a tense encounter. Untouchables fought desperately to find a goal but were denied but some outstanding saves from Jamie-Lee Guo in goal.
Wildcats 3 def. Boomerangs F.S. 2
A first versus second clash did not disappoint as Wildcats scored a late winner to push ahead at the top of the ladder, with two games in hand.
Two quick goals from Nick Rathjen put Wildcats out in front, before Maxx Green reduced the deficit minutes later for Boomerangs.
A wonder strike from Ben Basser-Silk levelled the scores and set up a grandstand finish between the two sides.
It would take a final minute goal from Rathjen to split the sides, bringing an end to an enthralling encounter.
