The draw for the Women’s Federation Cup Semi-Finals will see the holders, Canberra Olympic, face the winner of the Gungahlin United versus ANU WFC Quarter Final, should they get past the League Champions Canberra Croatia.
That titanic last eight match-up is one of four games to be played out over the next fortnight as the pre-eminent women’s cup competition in Canberra and the region kicks off for the 2023 edition.
The top two from last season’s Womens National Premier League are scheduled to meet at the AIS on Wednesday 12 April.
Whilst the Gunners and NPL newcomers ANU WFC go toe-to-toe at Gungahlin Enclosed for the right to meet the winners of the Croatia v Olympic stoush, last season’s beaten finalists, Belconnen United open their account with a trip to meet Tuggeranong United At Kambah 2 on Wednesday next week.
The successful team from that match will meet the victors of the Canberra United Academy v West Canberra Wanderers encounter in the semi-finals following the draw that took place at Football House in Deakin on Thursday afternoon.
