Capital Football duo Parris Bangweni and Josh Milicevic have been identified to take part in a Football Australia TDS fixture following their exploits in the local Talent Development Scheme (TDS) matches held at the Riverside Stadium.
Bangweni, of Canberra Croatia, and Milicevic, who plays for Tigers FC, both impressed in the event held in Queanbeyan in front of the Football Australia (FA) TDS network and Young Socceroos Head Coach Trevor Morgan.
“We are delighted that both Parris and Josh have been identified for the fixture to be held in Sydney,” Capital Football Technical Director Phil Booth commented.
“The TDS games at the Riverside were a fantastic opportunity for the boys to be identified to take the next step towards potential international selection, and with the expansion of the FA scouting network through the Shiny app, I am confident more local talent will be spotted.”
The pair, who both play in the National Premier League, have been invited to participate in a TDS match for the 2006/2007 age group, hosted by FA and Football New South Wales, at Valentine Sports Park (Field 4), on Tuesday 21 May with kick-off at approximately 7pm.
Capital Football congratulate both Parris Bangweni and Josh Milicevic on their selection for this fixture.
