Bernando Hendra of Belnorth FC Capital League Open Division 5 is our Male Club Lime Community Player of the Month for April 2024!

“Bernando “Nandoe” Hendra has been playing for the same team for 20 years—initially for the UC Pumas from 2004 to 2006 and Belnorth from 2007 onwards in the Capital Leagues.” nominee Benjamin Muir commented.

“Nandoe has been a loyal and ever-present player for the team, affectionately known as the Belnorth Bisons. He is now the only remaining player from the team that started way back at UC Pumas in 2004.”

Despite having been a part of the same squad for two decades, Hendra had never found the back of the net, but recently got his first score for Belnorth.

“During all his time as a Bison, he hadn’t managed to score a goal, but on Thursday, the 23rd of May, at the tender age of 40, he did it! He finally scored his first goal for the team.”
