The Capital Futsal League is back for Season Four with some changes to the fast-paced, indoor game, which will showcase the best Futsal talent in the Capital Football region once again.
Seven teams will compete in the Men’s and Women’s competitions for the right to be crowned Champions and follow in the footsteps of our previous winners of the stop-clock tournament, played on an international sized court.
The 2025 competition will see two teams from North Fire, the Flames and the Inferno, two from South Canberra Swift, Green and White Tigers, the West Canberra Lightning, ANU Apex, and UC Stars, competing in both men’s and women’s competitions.
Action commences on Wednesday evening with North Fire Flames and West Canberra Lighting meeting at the Australian Institute of Sport Training Halls, whereas Saturday sees matches between North Fire Inferno and ANU Apex, UC Stars and Lighting, plus the South Canberra Swift derby between Green and White Tigers.
UC Stars will be seeking a hat-trick of victories in the men’s competition having been successful in Season 2 and Season 3, whilst North Fire broke West Canberra Lightning’s stranglehold in the Women’s and will be searching for the opportunity to go back-to-back.
The competition will see rounds played across 10 weeks before it all culminates in the Championship Series with the Grand Finals scheduled for Sunday 21 December. PCYC Queanbeyan will be the primary venue for all CFL matches, with other venues used as required.
