Capital Football is seeking nominations from individuals interested in contributing to the governance and development of football across the ACT and surrounding regions through appointment to a Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) or Region Council.
In accordance with Clause 10.2 of Capital Football By-Law 1, the Board is seeking applications to fill a number of casual vacancies that have arisen during the current appointment term.
Current Vacancies
The current composition and vacancies of Capital Football’s Standing Advisory Committees and Region Councils are:

Applications are particularly encouraged for the Junior League Standing Advisory Committee and North Region Council, where multiple vacancies currently exist. The Board may also consider suitable applicants for appointment to the Community Leagues Standing Advisory Committee and Premier League Standing Advisory Committee.

Eligibility and Nomination Process
Eligible applicants must meet the requirements outlined in the relevant sections of the Capital Football By-Laws and complete the online self-nomination form.

Appointments made through this process will run through to 31 October 2026 and are intended to fill casual vacancies for the remainder of the current term.
Please note that nominations for the subsequent two-year appointment period (October 2026 to October 2028) will open in August 2026.
Assessment Process
Eligible submissions will be reviewed by Capital Football Management and submitted to the Board for final consideration and approval.
The Board reserves the right not to appoint any applicant if no suitable applicants are identified.
