BellaMonaro Women’s Football Club has withdrawn from the NPL Girls U16 competition for the remainder of the 2026 season.

With player numbers impacted by injuries, withdrawals and delayed returns, the club has prioritised what matters most – player wellbeing.

This group has shown resilience, commitment and pride all season, and that doesn’t go unnoticed.

The focus now shifts to supporting every player to continue their football journey, with BellaMonaro working alongside Capital Football and regional partners to find the right pathways.

The work doesn’t stop here. Planning for 2027 is already underway with a clear commitment to rebuild, strengthen and grow the girls’ game in the region.
