The 2025 season of the Capital Futsal League is heating up as the seven competing teams battle it out for a spot in the finals in just under a months’ time.
West Lightning are leading the way in the Men’s competition, with six wins to their name and 46 goals scored, as they sit two points clear atop the table with 18 points. An undefeated South Canberra Swift Green side are hot on their tails with 16 points, and a game in hand on West Lightning.
Defending champions UC Stars sit in third place with 13 points to their name, while North Fire Inferno and South Canberra Swift White Tigers are tied on 12 points, with North Fire having a superior goal difference.
In the Women’s, North Fire Inferno are leading the way with 16 points to their name, after five wins and one draw in their seven matches, and also boast the best defence in the competition. South Canberra Swift Green aren’t far behind on 14 points, with four wins and two draws.
North Fire Flames are in third place, despite topping the goalscoring, with four wins in seven. West Lightning Blue might be sitting in fourth place, but they remain undefeated and have three games in hand on the teams above, having only made the pitch four times so far.
