Capital Football has received notification from Football Australia that the National Youth Championships (NYC) and the NTC Challenge have been cancelled for 2021.

In consultation with the nine Member Federations, medical experts and other external consultants, Football Australia has made the difficult call to cancel the events due to the everchanging COVID-19 situation across the country.

This decision has been made with the health, safety and well-being of the football community at front of mind.

Capital Football remains committed to providing pathways for continued talent identification and development, such as the Junior Matildas Elite game hosted last month at Hawker Football Centre and the TSP games against NSW Country in Goulburn for the boys this coming weekend.

We understand the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused but the safety of our football community must not be taken lightly.
