League Champions Canberra Olympic have been drawn against Gungahlin United in the pick of the Women’s Federation Cup Quarter Finals following the draw that took place at Football House.
Olympic, who won the League and Grand Final double last season, as well as the Charity Shield, will seek to go further than the 2024 edition when they were beaten at the same stage by a single goal from Canberra Croatia in a fixture played at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Cup holders Belconnen United will began the defence of their crown with a home tie against the winners of the sole Preliminary Round match which sees the only non-NPL side, White Eagles, play host to NPL newcomers Majura FC.
Elsewhere, beaten 2024 finalists Canberra Croatia seek cup redemption this season, and began a potential route back to the Final with a fixture against a Tuggeranong United team under a new Coach in Ian Toms.
The other Quarter Final tie pits two teams who were in the lower reaches of the NPL last term, but who enter 2025 full of confidence, as ANU WFC welcome West Canberra Wanderers in what should be an exciting clash.
Selected matches will be streamed live on our YouTube channel with dates, kick-off times, and venues to be confirmed.
