The semi-final matchups for the 2019 Capital Football Women’s Federation Cup were decided on Monday through the official draw at Capital Football headquarters.
Following four entertaining quarter-final matchups the clubs were decided, with Belconnen United, Canberra FC, Canberra Olympic and Woden-Weston remaining in the competition.
First drawn out of the pot was Canberra FC, who made their way to the draw with a big win over the UC Pumas and they were drawn to face Belconnen United in the first semi-final in a rematch of the 2018 NPLW Grand Final.
That left two teams and only the order to be decided, and Canberra Olympic were pulled out first to host the second semi-final, and they will take on Woden-Weston for a spot in the 2019 final to be held on Saturday, 15th June.
