Gavin Martin, who has been involved in refereeing for over 25 years at local, national, and international levels, was inducted into the Capital Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
He commenced refereeing in 1992 and was appointed to the National Youth League in his first season. Gavin had six international appointments in his career, including Australia vs USA women’s match and Australia vs South Africa U23.
Gavin was also an assistant referee on the very first Hyundai A-League fixture between Newcastle Jets and Adelaide United.
In 2015, Gavin was inducted into the Capital Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his contribution to refereeing.
