Canberra Croatia maintained their title challenge in the National Premier League Reserves competition as they secured a dominant 12-0 win over Tuggeranong United at Deakin Stadium.
Both Rhiannon Fensom and Emily Hazilias scored a hat-trick each in the big win over the visitors, adding to the opener from Amy Bongiorno who also added a second goal later on in the match.
Arianna Majetic, Elizbeth Bartone, and an own goal from Brianna Lazzari added to the total which was rounded off by the twelfth goal netted five minutes from time by Pia McGhie.
Belconnen United continued to lead the way and increased their goal difference but were made to work for it by bottom of the table Majura FC, the Blue Devils winning 3-0 at McKellar Park.
After a goalless first-half, an own goal from Vanessa Singers gave Belconnen the breakthrough they required, and they were to double their lead when Scarlett Wells made it 2-0 with her twelfth goal of the season.
A later third, scored by Pascale La Hei with eight minutes remaining, secured the points and a league lead on goal difference.
West Canberra Wanderers moved into fourth place on the league table as they jumped over Gungahlin United with a 2-1 win over their nearest challengers for the position at Melrose Synthetic.
Sonja Tomanovits put the Wanderers ahead in the 17th minute and, by the half-time break, they were two to the good as Samantha Host found the way to goal and a cushion at the interval.
Ella Hall pulled one back with her ninth goal of the season with a quarter of an hour to go, but the Gunners could not find the equaliser.
